This Shipping Policy applies to physical products purchased through whykusanagi.xyz. Our merchandise is produced on-demand through our fulfillment partner, Printify, and shipped from their production facilities.
1. Digital Products (No Shipping)
Digital products are delivered instantly via download link.
- Doujinshi PDFs, digital artwork, and e-books are NOT shipped
- Download links are sent to your email immediately after payment
- No shipping fees apply to digital products

2. Print-on-Demand Production
How It Works
Physical merchandise (apparel, accessories, prints) is custom-made after you order:
- Order Placed: You complete checkout on our Shopify store
- Production Starts: Order is sent to Printify's nearest production facility (2-7 days depending on location)
- Quality Check: Item is printed, assembled, and inspected
- Shipped: Package is handed to shipping carrier with tracking
- Delivered: Carrier delivers to your address
Why Print-on-Demand?
- No Pre-Made Inventory: Items are made fresh for each order
- Higher Quality: Each item is individually crafted
- Sustainable: No waste from unsold stock
- Longer Wait: Takes more time than pre-stocked items
3. Processing Times
Production Time (Before Shipping)
Allow 2-7 business days for production, depending on product type:

What "Business Days" Means
- Monday-Friday only (excludes weekends)
- Excludes major holidays (Christmas, New Year's, etc.)
- Orders placed on weekends start processing Monday
Delays
Production may take longer during:
- High-volume sales periods (product launches, holidays)
- Supply chain disruptions (material shortages)
- Quality control issues requiring reprints

6. Tracking Your Order
Tracking Number
Once your order ships, you'll receive:
- Email Notification: "Your order has shipped" with tracking link
- Tracking Number: Unique code to monitor your package
- Carrier Website: Link to track on carrier's site (USPS, UPS, etc.)
Tracking Updates
Typical tracking milestones:
- "Label Created": Shipping label printed, package not yet picked up
- "In Transit": Package is moving through carrier's network
- "Out for Delivery": Package is on the delivery truck today
- "Delivered": Package was successfully delivered
Tracking Issues
- No Updates for 3+ Days: Contact carrier first, then us if unresolved
- "Tracking Not Found": Wait 24-48 hours; carrier systems update slowly
- "Returned to Sender": Contact us immediately; may be address issue
7. Shipping Costs
Calculated at Checkout
Shipping fees are calculated based on:
- Product weight and dimensions
- Destination address (domestic vs international)
- Shipping speed selected (standard vs express)
- Number of items in order
Free Shipping
We occasionally offer free shipping promotions:
- Check homepage for current offers
- Minimum order value may be required
- Usually limited to domestic orders only
8. International Shipping Details
Customs & Duties
IMPORTANT: Customers are responsible for all customs fees, import duties, and taxes.
- Fees are determined by your country's customs office
- Amounts vary by country and product value
- We cannot predict or control these charges
- You must pay customs fees to receive your package
- Refusal to pay = package returned = no refund
Customs Declaration
All international packages include customs forms declaring:
- Product description (e.g., "T-shirt", "Poster")
- Item value (purchase price)
- Country of origin (where produced)
Prohibited Countries
We cannot ship to certain countries due to legal or logistical restrictions. Checkout will indicate if your country is unavailable.
9. Address & Delivery Issues
Correct Address Required
Double-check your address before ordering!
- Include apartment/unit numbers
- Use correct ZIP/postal codes
- Ensure spelling is accurate
Address Errors
- Before Shipment: Contact us immediately to update (may be too late if production started)
- After Shipment: Contact the carrier to attempt address correction (additional fees may apply)
- Returned to Sender: Customer pays reshipping fees for incorrect addresses
Delivery Locations
Carriers deliver to:
- Residential addresses (front door, mailbox)
- Business addresses (during business hours)
- PO Boxes (USPS only; some items may not fit)
- APO/FPO military addresses (domestic shipping rates)
Failed Delivery Attempts
If carrier cannot deliver (no one home, signature required):
- Carrier will leave a notice with pickup instructions
- Package may be held at local post office or carrier facility
- You typically have 7-15 days to pick up before return to sender
10. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages
Lost Packages
If tracking shows no updates for 10+ days after shipment:
- Contact the carrier first (they may locate it)
- If carrier confirms loss, contact us at support@whykusanagi.xyz
- We'll file a claim and send a replacement or refund
Stolen Packages (Porch Theft)
If tracking shows "Delivered" but you didn't receive it:
- Check with neighbors, building management, or household members
- Verify the address on your order confirmation
- File a police report for theft
- Contact us; we'll work with you on a case-by-case basis
Note: Once carrier marks "Delivered," it's out of our control, but we'll do our best to help.
Damaged in Transit
If your package arrives damaged:
- Take photos: Damaged packaging, damaged product, shipping label
- Contact us within 48 hours: support@whykusanagi.xyz
- Include: Order number, tracking number, photos
- Resolution: Free replacement or full refund

Track Your Order
- Order Confirmation Email: Sent immediately after purchase (check spam folder)
- Shipping Notification Email: Sent when order ships with tracking link
- Shopify Account: Log in to your account to view order status

Expect Delays During:

- Major Holidays: Carrier delays around Christmas, New Year's, etc.
- Weather Events: Storms, natural disasters affecting carrier operations
Order early during peak seasons! Allow extra time for production and shipping.

We reserve the right to update this Shipping Policy at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of our shop constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
